This is a pretty amazing piece of equipment and if you are doing graphic design, video or audio work then this is a brilliant choice especially if your budget doesn't run to around $4000 for a new one.
There is 512Gb of storage space giving it enough space for most work! (You can always add additional external storage) and 32GB of RAM to provide power and speed along with the M1 MAX chip & 24 core graphics. It also has lots of connectivity which has been missing from other Apple devices.Two USB-C ports on the front along with a card reader, lots of ports on the back including a 10Gb ethernet port.
One of the HUGE advantages of M1 Max over M1 is that you can attach a lot of monitors to it which is fairly essential for a device that does not have a screen attached. The basic M1 could connect one monitor where the Mac Studio supports "up to" 5 displays -- 4 displays "up to" 6K
